The manuscript was dismembered sometime between 1939 and 1952 by Otto Ege or Philip Duschnes. Leaves from this manuscript became no. 30 in Ege's "Fifty Original Leaves from Medieval Manuscripts" portfolio.
According to Parke-Bernet Galleries (23 Feb. 1939, lot 116), formerly bound in "full maroon gilt and blind stamped levant morocco, gilt edges, by Riviere." When sold in 1939, "the first leaf of Prime, the first leaf of the Vespers, the first leaf of the Complin, the first leaf of the Horae S. Crucis, and the first leaf of the Fifteen Joys of the Virgin" were lacking.
